Судя по всему две победы на 7 и 8 этапе SWS на PRIMRING могли позволить Сергею Смирнову войти в первую шестёрку российского рейтинга и как следствие оказаться среди тех, кто будет представлять Россию на Гранд Финале SWS 2014 года. Однако, в самый ответственный момент удача отвернулась от Сергея. 6-е место на 7 этапе и 2-е на 8 этапе позволили ему подняться лишь до 9-й позиции рейтинга. В любом случае никто не сможет нас упрекнуть в том, что мы тянули нашего гонщика за уши в попытки обеспечить его достаточным количеством баллов. Заключительные этапы прошли в честной борьбе, победили сильнейшие на этот момент гонщики. У нас всех ещё будет шанс!!!

NEW REGULATION
SODI WORLD SERIES – SEASON 2015

Dear Partner tracks and drivers, the 2014 season is almost done and has been a very successful year!

In 2014, 6000 new SWS Drivers joined our network. Thanks to its 190 tracks all around the world, 2000 races have been organized over the five continents.

The SODI WORLD SERIES became the biggest World championship of Leisure Go-kart. It would not have been such a success without your great daily work!

Always focusing on SWS actors’ feedback, the 3MKEVENTS team and the SODIKART Group decide to update its 2015 regulation to reach more satisfaction and for additional fun!

What is going to change in 2015?

No maximum limit of races to be organized by the track
In 2014, Partner tracks were able to organized “only” 40 SPRINT races, 30 ENDURANCE Races and 30 JUNIOR Races. In 2015, partner tracks will organize as many races as they wish!

One ENDURANCE CUP Race per day Maximum
An ENDURANCE CUP race is to be a unique event! In 2015, Partner Tracks will be able to organize only one ENDURANCE race per day, however, they are still allowed to mix it with other races of SPRINT and JUNIOR CUP (4 races maximum per day).

Points Bonus for the ENDURANCE CUP regarding the length of the race
It is important to value the length of an ENDURANCE CUP. In 2015, Points bonus will be allocated to each team according to the length of the race (Cf annex 1 regulation)

SPRINT CUP, the 10 best results taken into account.
In 2014, the 8 best SPRINT CUP results were taken into account. The 10 best results will be recorded in 2015.

Please consult the new 2015 regulation and 2015 memorandum of agreement to better manage your next season.

Уважаемые партнеры серии SWS и гонщики, сезон 2014 почти завершён.

В 2014 году к серии SWS присоединились 600 гонщиков. На 190 треках, на пяти континентах планеты проведены 2000 заездов.

ЧЕМПИОНАТА МИРА SODI стал крупнейшим соревнованием использующим карты для проката. Это произошло благодаря вашей упорной повседневной работой!

Чтобы достичь ещё большого и удовлетворить ваши запросы, организации 3MKEVENTS и SODIKART приняли следующие решения:

В серии SWS Sprint Cup 2015 будет отменён максимальный придел гонок на одной трассе. В 2014 году треки участники чемпионата SWS имели право на проведение "всего" 40 гонок в рамках серии. В 2015 году партнеры смогут проводить столько гонок сколько захотят.
Начиная с 2015 года в зачёт гонщика будут приниматься 10 лучших результатов.

Wintercup 2014 am 14.12.

Nur noch eine Woche bis zum Wintercup 2014.

Das Starterfeld hat sich gut gefüllt, so dass wir zur Zeit 34 Starter in den Einzelrennen und 20 Teams am Start haben.

Sollte der ein oder andere noch Lust haben daran teilzunehmen, sollte er sich noch schnell anmelden, da nur noch wenige Startplätze zu vergeben sind.

Die Anmeldung kann nur per Mail an info@kart2000.eu erfolgen.

Den Zeitplan zum Wintercup werden wir in der nächsten Woche an alle angemeldeten Teilnehmer per E-Mail versenden.

Azzam and Connor win Super Finals in Senior and Junior Sprint Cup races
Ten different winners on a night of close racing
On Sunday night (7 December) Dubai Kartdrome hosted the penultimate round of the SWS Series Sprint Cup races for RX7 Seniors and LR4 Juniors with Rami Azzam taking top honours in the Super Final for seniors and young Oliver Walton doing the business in the junior category.

Azzam claimed victory in the Super Final after a riveting contest which saw him battling it out with Sam Zian, Paul Chateany, Atef Al Barwani and teenage schoolgirl Abigail Birch.

Little separated the leaders, but Azzam held out to take top spot ahead of second placed Zian who was a mere 0.289 of second adrift. Chatenay took the final podium spot denying Al Barwani and Birch.

Earlier in the evening there were five different winners of the six heats to determine the Final and Super Final. Al Barwani winning two heats while Azzam, Eduardo Creagh, Paul Chatenay, Nacho Girano and Driss Louahem all winning a heat during the course of the evening before the Super Final.

With one round to go Hussein Umid Ali leads the points standings ahead of Zian and Ali Al Mansoori. The top drivers qualify to compete in the SWS World Finals in France next year.

A record number of 24 youngsters lined up on the grid in the Junior category. There were four different winners in each of the four heats, with Samir Malas, Keanu Al Azhari, Alex Connor and Oliver Walton winning their respective heats.

Enzo Al Azhari who miised out on the Super Final nevertheless took top spot in the Final.

In the Junior Super Final, Walton took maximum points as he crossed the line under half a second ahead of Keanu Al Azhari, with Kamal Agha third, Samir Malas fourth and Zaid Alami in fifth.

With one round to go three drivers – Alex Connor, Samir Malas and Kamal Agha – stand a chance of taking the 2014 title and with it a berth in the SWS World Finals.

The final round of the 2014 SWS Sprint Cup Series takes place at the Kartdrome on Suday, 14 December.
