McLaren have appealed the stewards decision to dock any constructors points they may score in tomorrow's Hungarian Grand Prix.
The Woking-based outfit were penalised by the stewards after an incident in qualifying today saw Fernando Alonso hold up teammate Lewis Hamilton for several seconds, which cost the Briton a final flying lap.
The stewards rejected the team's explanations for the hold-up and said they would not be able to score any constructors' championship points in tomorrow's race at Budapest.
The stewards also relegated Alonso to sixth on the grid, although this penalty is not appealable under the Formula One regulations.
McLaren will now race under appeal tomorrow, with the race results remaining provisional under a hearing is scheduled in the International Court of Appeal
