Сообщение от Begbyзначит и биатлон где-то там
кстате про биатлон две новости:
1.
At two doping controls which took place after the Women’s Sprint and Pursuit in Rollerbiathlon at the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2006 in Ufa/RUS on 9 and 10 September 2006 the substance carphedon was detected at the Russian two times gold medallist Natalya Burdyga.
According to the WADA “2006 Prohibited List”, carphedon belongs to the class S6 (stimulants).
The IBU Executive Board held an Extraordinary Meeting on this case on 18 October 2006 in Antholz/Anterselva/ITA and found that Natalya Burdyga has violated article 1.2.2 of the IBU Anti-Doping Rules. According to article 7.7.1. of the IBU Disciplinary Rules in connection with article 1.2.2. lit. a of the IBU Anti-Doping Rules the athlete Natalya Burdyga has been banned for the time period of two years. The ban has started on 9 September 2006 and ends on 8 September 2008 at 24h00. It includes all biathlon competitions that are organised by the IBU or one of its member federations during this time.
Based on article 7.5 lit.c of the IBU Disciplinary Rules, Natalya Burdyga was disqualified from the Women’s Sprint and Pursuit at the Summer Biathlon WCH 2006 and all further biathlon competitions she took part since this date. According to article 6.1 of the IBU Disciplinary Rules, Natalya Burdyga has forfeited all medals and prizes achieved at all these competitions.
The athlete Natalya Burdyga loses all sport-related financial support or other sport-related benefits from the IBU until 8 September 2008.
The IBU Executive Board could not find any legitimate reason to use its authority under articles 4.4 or 4.5 of the IBU Disciplinary Rules in order to eliminate or reduce the otherwise applicable period of ban for the athlete Natalya Burdyga.
The Olympic gold medallist in Turin, Russian biathlete Olga Zaitseva, was married on September 30, 2006. Her chosen man is the Slovakian Milan Augustin, who formerly represented Slovakia in Summer Biathlon, was a member of the team that enabled the creation of the Slovakian women’s team, and who is currently an assistant for the Winter University Games at the offices of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) seated in Brussels.
Zaitseva’s surname will shortly be Augustin.Baguette macht fett,
